GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTRACTING
- AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PARTIES:
By making a reservation with us, the client declares full and voluntary acceptance of the terms and conditions detailed below. This document establishes the legal framework governing the relationship between the traveler and our company.
- RESERVATION PROCEDURE:
Each of our trips, excursions, and activities has a specific reservation form available on our website. To initiate the process, the client must complete this form, indicating the desired date, number of participants, and any additional requirements necessary for the proper organization of the service.
Upon receiving your request, our team will respond within a maximum of 24 hours. If you do not receive a reply, we recommend checking your spam folder or resending the message.
Once the itinerary is defined and confirmed whether a standard program or a customized trip a 30% deposit of the total cost will be requested as a booking guarantee. This payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or a secure payment system provided by the company. Upon receiving the deposit, we will proceed with accommodation arrangements and planning, and send you an official confirmation.
- RESERVATION CHANGES:
We understand that changes or unforeseen events may arise. Therefore, as far as possible, we will do everything necessary to adjust your itinerary according to your new needs. However, we cannot guarantee that all requested changes can be implemented exactly as desired, especially if requested on short notice or during peak season.
- UNFORESEEN CHANGES AND FORCE MAJEURE:
Situations beyond our control may affect the trip, including extreme weather, natural disasters, social unrest, labor disputes, government restrictions, health emergencies, acts of terrorism, or war.
In such cases, itinerary changes, delays, or even cancellations may occur. Our company will not be liable for consequences arising from these unforeseen or unavoidable events. However, we will make every effort to offer viable alternatives within our capabilities.
- MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE:
It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering, at a minimum: cancellations, medical expenses, accidents, repatriation, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events. Coverage for pre-existing conditions and liability is also recommended.
Desert Majesty is not responsible for expenses resulting from inadequate insurance coverage contracted by the traveler.
- CANCELLATION POLICY:
If the client decides to cancel their trip, the following conditions apply:
- More than 30 days before the trip: deposit is non-refundable but may be used as credit for a future open-date reservation.
- 29 to 10 days before the trip: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- Less than 10 days before departure: 100% of the trip cost must be paid, with no refund.
- These policies are firm, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- ACCOMMODATION:
Offered accommodations hotels, riads, guest houses, or camps are booked based on availability and local standards, which may differ from international standards. Whenever possible, upgrade options may be offered at an additional cost.
- REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS:
If you have particular needs (such as special diets, mobility issues, bed preferences, etc.), you must inform us at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, although implementation depends on availability and local limitations.
- REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS (DETAILED):
If you have specific needs to be considered when planning your trip such as medical requirements, dietary restrictions, reduced mobility, or any other assistance please notify us in writing before confirming your reservation. This information is essential for coordinating with our partners and ensuring the most comfortable, safe, and personalized experience possible.
We will try to address all requests, but we cannot always guarantee fulfillment. If a request cannot be accommodated, we will notify you before finalizing the reservation. Please also indicate general preferences, such as room type, bed arrangement, or accommodation location. We will do our utmost to meet them; however, these preferences are not binding, and no compensation will be offered if they cannot be fulfilled.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
We are responsible if any of the services included in your trip are not provided as agreed and fail to meet reasonable quality standards. In such cases, appropriate compensation may be offered, limited to the value of that specific part of the trip.
However, we are not liable for personal injury, illness, material loss, death, or other unfortunate events that may occur during the trip, unless direct negligence by our company or suppliers is proven.
- REQUIRED TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
Each traveler is responsible for having valid travel documents. Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the destination country. Travelers must also research and obtain visas or other permits required by the authorities of the country visited.
Any inconvenience arising from lack of valid documentation is the traveler’s responsibility, and no refunds will be issued for this reason.
- PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION:
We take our clients’ privacy seriously. All personal information provided will be treated confidentially and used only to manage your reservation and provide contracted services.
If you provide health, dietary, or special needs information, we will share it only with providers involved in your trip, solely to ensure your well-being during the experience. By confirming your reservation, you authorize us to share this information securely and only when strictly necessary.
